Marcy, MBA, Executive JD., Managing Principal, Chairman FINRA, Faculty Writing Center Florida Atlantic University, scored a 5.5 on the National GRE Writing Exam, placing her in the 98% for writing. She is the CEO and Owner of ‘12C Writing and Editing LLC‘, which specializes in writing graduate school applications, personal statements, bio/resumes, and one-on-one interview tutoring for medical, pharmaceutical, dental , and law school. Others areas of specialization include: editing business reports, ghost writing, and editing masters theses and dissertations for academia, with an emphasis on support to English Language Learners.
Marcy has been a Professional Writing Consultant/Faculty at Florida Atlantic University since 2017, and enjoys supporting all levels of writing.
For 25 years she was in the banking industry as an Executive Vice President, Corporate Director of Wealth Management and Managing Principal for a plethora of major financial institutions throughout the US, where she established and managed de novo Wealth Management Divisions (private banking, broker/dealer, trust, capital management insurance services, and financial planning). For 20+ years she continues to be a Chairman and Industry Expert for FINRA, where she is called in to judge investment arbitrations (The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority is the single largest independent regulatory body for securities firms operating in the U.S., overseeing over 3,400 brokerage firms, 152,000 branch offices, and 17,550 registered securities representatives with nineteen offices across the United States and approximately 3,600 employees). Marcy is often called in as an Expert Witness for financial industry legal cases by Thomson Reuters (Thomson Reuters Expert Witness Services and DRI Defense Research Institute are a combined national organization consisting of over 22,000 defense trial lawyers and corporate counsel who employ expert witnesses for use in a trial, or for conducting research on opposing counsel’s witness).
Marcy is a business consultant for SCORE, a national nonprofit organization and resource partner of the Small Business Administration (SBA) that maintains the largest network of mentors for small business owners, helping small businesses achieve their goals.
Marcy entered New York University following her junior year of high school at the age of seventeen as a Piano Performance Major and English Minor. She performed throughout Metro NYC, including the New York University Performing Arts Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, NYC Town Hall, and the NJ Performing Arts Center, and accompanied the NJ School of Ballet. She is the Owner and Director of the largest piano studio ( ‘A Prelude to the Classics Music Academy of Performing Arts and Music Therapy’) in Florida and specializes in teaching children on the Spectrum, highly gifted and talented, and instructs the majority of International piano contestants and competition winners in the world. She is a Professional Tutor for FAU for Applied Piano, Undergraduate, and Graduate Music Theory.
